Ryan claims that the beer that was the beginning of the end for him was Ithaca’s Flower Power. Growing up less than an hour from this loveable liquid, he attributes this timeless beauty to opening up a new world of beer for him in his early 20’s. Other than converting his entire family to this world, Ryan enjoys wandering around the city with his wife and close friends, usually hunting for a good beer, and some good jam band or country rock music. When he’s not writing about beer, he’s dreaming about it at his job working in HR.
