Currently, Calmezzi comes in four flavors: Original, Agave, Coco Falernum, and Spiced.

Bright and zesty, the Original is Calmezzi’s best-selling bottle. “The Original is more of a crisp and clean citrusy flavor,” shares Jackman. While Spiced, on the other hand, is a nod to Fireball Cinnamon Whisky with “basically a warm kick at the end,” says Jackman.

For a smooth, creamy taste of the tropics, Coco Falernum includes coconut flavor with ginger, lime, and clove spices. “We like to say it’s a beach vacation in a bottle,” says Jackman.

Lastly, with its rich, earthy tones, Agave is a nod to tequila. It’s perfect for mixing with cocktails or straight sipping.

Calmezzi Brings a New High to Happy Hour

Will Calmezzi get you high? Yes! But it’s a pleasant, calming, gentle buzz.

Available in 750 mL bottles, each Calmezzi contains 85mg of THC and CBD per bottle, which translates to 5mg of THC and 5mg of CBD per serving.

These lower dosages are designed for unwinding and socializing.

For those looking for an extra kick, Calmezzi recently released its Original with a higher dose of 170mg of THC and CBD per bottle, breaking down to 10mg of THC and 10mg of CBD per serving. How Should You Drink Calmezzi?

Jackman assures us that each flavor tastes great just poured over ice, but Calmezzi highly encourages you to create cocktails. You’ll find recipe ideas peppered on Calmezzi’s website and throughout their Instagram (@calmezzi).

Those like the Calmezzi Coco Sour, which includes three ounces of Calmezzi Coco Falernum, one ounce of fresh lemon juice, and half an ounce of simple syrup—all garnished with a lemon. You might call this cocktail a more tropical version of a Paloma.

For those occasions when you’re on the go, Calmezzi also offers all of its flavors in transportable shooters called Easy Shots.

With 5mg of THC and 5mg of CBD per 2oz serving, the Easy Shots are “Big enough to chill you out and small enough to fit in your pocket,” according to Calmezzi.

Where Calm Meets Canvas

Designed to be a showpiece, Calmezzi intentionally goes into 750ml bottles. The beverage company spray paints each bottle in a custom color before applying a label printed on cream-textured paper and topping it with a wooden cork. You can store these beautiful bottles on your bar cart or shelf, creating an art piece from the outside to the inside.

Jackman says someone once described the idea of Calmezzi as “to treat each bottle like a canvas.”

“I think that’s a beautiful image,” she adds.

Designed by the artist Tony Bartolucci, each Calmezzi label wryly and whimsically sets a scene.

“Calmezzi is a cannabis-infused beverage made for mixing and sharing,” Bartolucci told Hop Culture. “The idea was to inspire people to gather and connect—so I approached the design with Good Company as the guiding principle.”

Through somewhat abstract and deconstructed shapes, Bartolucci knits together a pattern of potential.

“To make the brand feel funky, nostalgic, and slightly ‘buzzed,’ while embodying a spirit of laid-back togetherness, I drew the logo and illustrations entirely by hand,” said Bartolucci, who has become known for his cheeky off-kilter characters and stylized scenes. “The boldly-colored labels depict groups of friends gathered around the product in chilled-out party settings.”

Like on the Calmezzi Original, where you’ll find a night on an urban rooftop with lights strung across framing a party of people around a foldout table, drinking and laughing with the city in the background.

“It’s a subtle nod to city life,” shares Jackman, who emphasizes that you can enjoy Calmezzi no matter where you are.

Which is why you’ll find a different narrative on each bottle.

Agave features people sprawled on picnic blankets, with tents and trees in the background, evoking a camping adventure.

Spiced depicts a night in—good friends gathered around a table.

And Coco Falernum with its coconut trees and sun whisk you away to somewhere tropical.

“Life changes and every day is different,” Jackman agrees. “We wanted to give everyone something that they could enjoy.”
