The Void (Batch 3) – Anchorage Brewing
Let’s be honest, Anchorage knows how to brew big beers. Hello, Deal With the Devil. But those bottles can be hard to come by. We received only a few this year, and they flew. But if you’re looking for something just as crazy (and in stock), try The Void (Batch 3).
This barrel-aged quadrupel ages for twenty-eight months in fifteen-year Calumet Farm bourbon barrels before finishing on coconut.
This 4.46-rated Belgian quad features flavors that reach into the depths of the abyss, with big notes of stewed plums, raisins, figs, vanilla, and, of course, coconut.
Winter Hopfenlager – Dovetail Brewery
The fourth release in lager-centric Chicago-based Dovetail’s Hopfenlager series, Winter Hopfenlager pays homage to the iconic Sierra Nevada Celebration.
Brewed to showcase the interplay between hops and lagers, Dovetail’s take celebrates the revered classic with a bit of caramel malt, and ‘C’ hops, including Chinook, Cascade, and Centennial.
Double-decocted to extra maximum grain goodness, Winter Hopfenlager also gets hop additions at flameout and in the coolship to amp up the hoppy heart of this lager.
To finish off this lager smoothly, Dovetail open-ferments and horizontally matures Winter Hopfenlager for the ultimate beer to start your new year right!
Lovely Patrol (Sundance) – Forgotten Road Ales
A part of Forgotten Road Ales double fruited sour series, Lovely Patrol (Sundance) drops a bomb of blood orange, pineapple, and mango on your taste buds. Half sweet, half sour, all intensely delicious, this double-fruited sour collab with Percent Tap House hits an astronomical 4.26 rating on Untappd.
Untappd Mystery Box (Pastry Stouts)
Not sure exactly what you want, but have a style you love? We recently dropped three new Mystery Style boxes in three varieties: Hazy, Pastry Stout, and Lager.
For winter, we’re investing in our Untappd Mystery Box (Pastry Stout) because these decadent treats have become some of the most sought-after styles in recent years. We absolutely love these sometimes chocolatey, sometimes candy-inspired, always boozy beers, and this box provides just what you need to satisfy your sweet tooth without the hassle of choosing from thousands of options.
