Do you work in the beverage and hospitality industry? Do you love beer more than life itself? Are you interested in furthering your beer and brewing education? If you answered yes, we have a new beer education scholarship opportunity for you.

Expand Your Beer Knowledge

One of the best ways to increase your knowledge of beer is through the Cicerone Certification Program. The organization certifies and educates beer professionals through a series of exams at different levels to test one’s beer IQ. Earning the Certified Cicerone title validates that one has studied and attained a certain level of knowledge in the industry.

But like any standard of certification, becoming a Cicerone is challenging. Through a series of four levels, the program offers increasingly harder tests for people dedicated to perfecting their beer knowledge.

So while more than 124,000 people have passed level one Cicerone certification only 158 qualify as Advanced Cicerones (third level) and only 22 have reached the highest level of Master Cicerone status.

Consider achieving the apex of Cicerone status equivalent to becoming a Somm in the wine industry. A Master Cicerone needs to conquer a two-day twenty-hour long exam to earn the crown of Master Cicerone. Which is why the exam has a failure rate of ninety percent.

Still, you have to start somewhere right!? And even if you fail the first time, you can try, try again.
