Upside Down Beer
Braxton Brewing Co. just released their popular Haven Hefeweizen in upside down cans. Because the beer is unfiltered, storing it upside down means that when the can is flipped, yeast will come out of suspension, giving the beer a better pour.
Sam Adams SXSW Collab
Sam Adams will be releasing a collaboration brew with Austin, Texas based Infamous Brewing for the South by Southwest festival. The collaborative beer is a limited-release smoked oyster stout. SXSW festival starts March 10th in Austin, Texas.
New Deschutes
Deschutes Brewery just released a list of their new beers, and it’s a diverse list. They’ll be releasing an India red ale, a farmhouse ale, a summer ale and a passionfruit IPA.
Chicago Beer Festival
This Saturday, March 4th, the Chicago Beer Festival will take place at the Field Museum. It will feature over 70 breweries and their new spring brews. Brooklyn, Bell’s and Sweetwater are just a few of the breweries that will be in attendance.
