CHICAGO – Aleman Brewing, a Chicago brewery we’ve long had our eyes on, has finally broken ground on their new northwest side facility. Check out their Twitter and Facebook accounts for a few sneak-peaks at the first days of construction.

CHICAGO – What do the growing number of Chicago breweries do with their spent grain? DNAinfo explores several brewery’s decisions to toss it in the nearest dumpster or find a more environmentally friendly outlet for it through a local farm or bakery.

USA – Ezra’s, a new online craft spirits store, opened their “doors” yesterday. Aside from the vast catalog of liquor, the site also features “The Swill” an online magazine packed with feature length articles and beautiful imagery.
