Brisighella, Italy
Podere La Berta is another in the line of wineries turned beermakers. Located just southeast of Bologna, near the Adriatic Sea, this Italian craft producer has taken a modern approach to it’s initial lineup of packaging, that is a pleasant progression of it’s wine cousins. The brewery’s logo is a nod to the ‘Caveja’, or iron rings that are known to hang from cattle’s yokes in the region, an item passed down from the Celts.
The label artwork was designed by Jona Sbarzaglia, for ‘PLB’ and are obvious nods to the Italian region’s culture, topography and seaside existence.
