Cannabis has come a long way from mystery bags and sketchy budtenders offering strains with names like “Space Unicorn Thunderpunch.” Today’s cannabis consumer wants clarity, control, and convenience. Enter Mood, a rising star in the online dispensary scene that’s flipping the script on how we experience cannabis.
Honestly, the old-school dispensaries can seem more like weeds, whereas Mood, they’re pure flower.
Founded by Jake Antifaev and David Charles, Mood was built on one radical idea: Your high should match your vibe. Whether you’re chasing better sleep, more focus, a good laugh, or just a mellow night in, Mood tailors every product to your specific intention.
No more rolling the dice with random strains. No more awkward dispensary visits. Mood makes finding cannabis online not only simple but smart. With an impressive range of high-quality flowers, gummies, edibles, drinks, and even cross joints (yes, really), Mood is redefining what it means to get high your way.
Meaning at Mood, it is literally your way and the high way.
And yes—it’s totally legal in thirty-nine states. So if you’ve ever wanted a “functional high” with purpose, taste, and transparency, now’s the time to find your Mood.
Because it’s not just weed anymore. It’s a lifestyle—with intention.
What’s Your Mood? Weed for Every Need

We’ve all been there, right? Probably that first time we smoked in high school or college, lighting a joint, followed by a bad case of paranoia. For me, it completely turned me off cannabis.
“That’s a common story,” says Antifaev. “It’s not fun to be super high when you can’t control anything.”
It’s why Mood focuses on what Antifaev calls “outcomes,” an intention behind the high.
The goal is simple.
“We essentially want to become the most convenient place to find cannabis online,” says Antifaev emphatically. “We are the go-to dispensary for cannabis.”
But weed, like most things, falls on a spectrum.
Mood understands this and excels at promoting various strains and products for different occasions, emotions, and day-to-day experiences.
“The name Mood comes from our desire to make cannabis more outcome-focused,” explains Antifaev.
Want better sleep?

Maybe you just want to feel happy, experience better sex, or celebrate by getting blasted.
Mood has something for every outcome.
“The problem with cannabis is that right now, you can walk into any dispensary and they’ll give you Triple Berry Thunderfuck, whatever, and it will probably do this, but it will make no sense,” says Antifaev. “Half the time these ‘budtenders’ have no idea what they’re talking about and just want to sell you a product.”
Mood cares about what you want.
“You know exactly what you’re getting and how you should feel after consuming our products,” Antifaev assures.
It’s one of the main reasons Shean Barney loves Mood.
Barney, a car racer and repairman whose company, Barney’s Drag Racing, fixes up cars for TV shows like Pinks and Pass Time, started using Mood after he got in a horrific car accident. The crash tore his left arm out of its socket and broke his back and ankle.
He visited every doctor in the Syracuse, NY, area. They all told him the same thing: He’d never be able to put his arm over his head again, and his racing days were done.
“I was like, I don’t think so,” Barney tells me over the phone.
A gym rat, Barney started his own form of “physical therapy.” After finding Mood online, Barney started smoking some of their flower before he went to the gym, with the intention of concentrating more.
Within six or seven months, he had more mobility in his arm, and in less than a year, “I could put my hand over my head,” he says. “I never went back to the doctor, I never had physical therapy, I just went to the gym and used the weed and hash from Mood.”
He adds, “When everyone told me I couldn’t, Mood made it possible for me to have the life that I had before.”
That’s a pretty incredible outcome.
High Quality: Flowers, Gummies, Edibles, Oh My

And Mood has a plethora of ways for you to take the high road, everything from straight-up flowers to home-baked goodies and everything in between.
What stays consistent across all their lines?
High quality. That’s not just a pun. It’s the truth.
Working with numerous small American farmers and manufacturers, Mood also follows a rigorous quality analysis process. At Mood’s warehouse in North Carolina, a team of eighty thoroughly tests each product to ensure it meets the company’s standards. “The key thing is that we have dedicated people who actually consume these products and give us unbiased feedback to make sure that you’re not getting a wild paranoia high or bud that is going to burn black and make you feel like crap,” says Antifaev, noting it can often take up to a month of back and forth to adjust things accordingly.
Barney says Mood’s dedication to quality gives him peace of mind.
“I have a family, kids, and a lot of people who count on me,” he explains. “I want to know one hundred percent that I have nothing to worry about, which is why I only deal with Mood.”
He adds, “I know when I call them and get something it’s one-hundred percent legit. It’s tested; it’s gone through everything; I know what I’m getting, and I like that feeling.”
So much so that Barney says Mood is the only place where he buys weed.
Here are a few things Mood offers:
Flower

Sourced from boutique American farmers, Mood’s flower is a source of pride.
“The main focus is just quality,” says Antifaev. “We have no mold, no sprays, no pesticides.”
Offered across three tiers—top shelf, premium, and economy—Mood’s flowers hit every price point.
Antifaev speaks especially highly of their economy line. “It’s very high compared to our competitors.”
Of the highest quality, more than the average buds, Mood’s flower comes in twenty-seven THCa and four Delta-8 strains (which are only available in states where THCa delivery is restricted).
Antifaev says that with such a large selection across all tiers, it’s hard for him to nail down a favorite. But he points out Pluto is currently the most popular.
“Pluto is the most popular because it’s versatile,” he explains. “That’s what people look for the most … just a safe strain to choose initially.”
Other standout strains include Gary Payton, Gushers, and Dark Rainbow.
Barney also couldn’t nail down just one flower he uses, emphasizing that he tries all kinds from Mood. “I probably have six or seven pounds right now,” he laughs, “We could pull out a box and be here for twenty minutes!”
Gummies

One of the most popular lines at Mood, gummies are categorized by outcome.
Peruse Mood’s website and you’ll find descriptors like “Better Sleep,” “Relief From Aches,” “Chill Out,” “Get Energized & Focused,” “Feel Happy,” and “Better Sex.”
“With gummies,” says Antifaev, “we want to solve issues for people.”
Currently, Antifaev swears by the Sleepytime Gummies. On a recent trip to Charlotte, he took them for a week straight and “had the best sleep of my life,” he shares. “You don’t wake up groggy, which can be a main concern.”
Instead, Antifaev says that “You’re down and out in fifteen minutes once it kicks in. It’s a really nice, calm, collected high.”
Edibles

This can be a tricky category. Just last week, for the first time, my partner brought home a chocolate bar from our local dispensary. Curious to try something besides a gummy, she unwrapped the bar and popped a tiny bit in her mouth. She hated the taste.
With Mood’s edibles, Antifaev and Charles tapped someone with twenty to thirty years of experience baking. Charles’ dad, Andy Charles, used to own a chocolate factory.
“He was experienced and had knowledge of all the confections,” explains Antifaev, noting Andy makes all of Mood’s baked goods, which is why you’ll see products like “Andy’s THC Chocolate Chip Cookie.”
That classic cookie does a pretty good job, according to Antifaev. “The edibles don’t have any true outcome besides having fun.”
And the taste?
Antifaev says it took Andy months to perfect the recipe and the dose, which Antifaev warns is a little higher (10mg Delta-9 THC/10mg CBD, 25mg Delta-9 THC/25mg CBD, or 50mg Delta-9 THC/50mg CBD), so he doesn’t advise eating it all at once.
“It’s difficult to mask the taste of cannabis, but I personally think we did it well,” he says. “You still get a hint, but it’s not overwhelming; you can still enjoy it.”
Beverages

Mood’s cannabis-based beverages come in seltzer, soda, and Sleepytime hot cocoa.
Antifaev recommends the Brown Sugar Cola, which he calls “a very good representation of THC-infused Coke.”
He adds, “It’s pretty popular.”
If you’re looking for something on the opposite side of the spectrum, go for a Sleepytime hot cocoa that Antifaev calls “the perfect bedtime sipper to keep you warm as you get ready for bed.”
Pre-Rolls, Vapes, and Concentrates

Although Flowers, Gummies, Edibles, and Beverages are the most popular lines at Mood, they do offer a few other options.
Pre-Rolls are for customers who don’t want to deal with rolling. “It’s an easy way for us to provide convenience,” says Antifaev.
And if you’re looking for something really fun, Mood even makes a cross joint with three ends you can light for you and your friends to “just get completely stoned,” laughs Antifaev. “It’s definitely a party or celebration joint for sure.”
When it comes to vapes, Mood again aims to provide something based on your preference. While a lot of vapes focus on plain distillate and nothing else, Mood’s vapes focus on outcome, be it better sleep, higher chill, more energy, happy vibes, etc.
Lastly, Mood’s concentrates, a category Antifaev has seen grow over the past few years, give carefully crafted highs with a kick.
Things like Classic Afghan Hash and Caribbean Dream are great to mix into a joint for “a little bit of extra kick,” says Antifaev.
Barney calls the Classic Afghan Hash his favorite. He likes to add a little on top of the bowl he’s smoking and “boom, I’m done,” he says. “It helps me sleep, it relaxes me.”
Barney feels that Mood has been a lifesaver. “I love them to death,” he tells me seriously, before adding with a laugh, “I got a tattoo on my leg that says Mood, so you tell me how much I love them!”
For a step up, veteran consumers can try the THCa Diamonds, which is for “getting absolutely blasted,” says Antifaev. Advanced users only: You’re getting a highly concentrated dose of THCa!
Who Is Mood For?

Everybody!
While Antifaev says their key demographic is people over thirty, honestly, at the end of the day, it’s just all about people looking for a “functional high.”
“They want something that will help relieve them, get them more creative, or help them sleep better,” says Antifaev. “Their main desire is an outcome, which is why we shaped the brand this way.”
Yes, This Is Legal

The answer is a resounding yes. As long as you live in one of the thirty-nine states that Mood ships to, including…
Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, District of Columbia, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming.
“We see a lot of people come to the website and bounce because they don’t think it’s legal,” says Antifaev. “All of our products are lab tested, and we have the proper license to sell these. If you are in a state we can sell and ship to, then you are completely fine to order.”
According to Antifaev, every product they make at Mood falls under the Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018 (also known as the Federal Farm Bill), which federally removed hemp from the government’s list of controlled substances.
“There is some confusion around hemp-derived THC that it is subpar to cannabis-derived THC,” explains Antifaev. “You’re getting the same high; it’s the same cannabinoids; the only difference is the definition.”
