A couple of weeks ago, we wrapped up our 26th festival (Spooky Brews Vol. II in Boston, MA), which averages to about a festival per month over the last two years. When we started our event series, we felt there was something interesting about tight-knit, intimate experiences, as opposed to the huge, mass-market beer events.

While we still believe in intimacy, we feel there’s room to grow. One of the most exciting parts of our annual festival series Beers With(out) Beards is planning activation events around the tasting festival that get people together and celebrate craft beer. Because we travel for most of our events, it’s hard to plan out a week — let alone an extra day — of events around our Juicy Brews festivals. But, as we declared this September, Pittsburgh is once again our home and it’s much easier to make plans at home base.

With this in mind, we’re excited to announce Juicy Brews Valentine’s Day, a series of events that will culminate in a beer fest, much like the Juicy Brews you’re used to. The festival itself will take place at Ace Hotel Pittsburgh over two sessions on February 15th, 2020. Like last year’s Juicy Brews Hotel Party, which happened on Saint Patrick’s Day weekend, we have a very juicy theme — Valentine’s Day, which should make for some great art and costumes. However, unlike last year, we’ll be taking over the ENTIRE hotel, meaning we’ll have room for many more breweries. Additionally, we’ll be activating around the city leading up to the main event, so follow us on Instagram or join our email newsletter to get updates on beer dinners, tastings, bottle shares, and tap takeovers.

As a company, we’re committed to creating joy through unique craft beer experiences, both nationally and for Pittsburgh. Let’s continue to push boundaries, create opportunities, and give more reasons for folks to call The Steel City one of the best places to live in the country.

Tickets for Juicy Brews Valentine’s Day go live on Wednesday, November 20th at 12:00 PM EST. Click here to see the current brewery list and for tickets.
